Faculty Retrieval Service
GW faculty have the ability to request Gelman Library materials through the Consortium Loan Service (CLS) using the ALADIN Catalog request link.
Articles from journals in the Periodicals collection can be scanned and delivered to your desktop via your myALADIN page, and books from the stacks can be retrieved and held at the Circulation Desk for you to pick up at your convenience.
Search for the GW journal or book you are seeking in the ALADIN Catalog, and then click the yellow "Request through Consortium Loan Services" button to submit your request.
If an item turns out to be unavailable at GW, your request is forwarded on to another consortium library, or can be requested through interlibrary loan.
GW Law and Medical School faculty should contact their respective libraries for services.
