LGBT Pride Celebration and Safe Zone Training at Gelman Library
The Gelman Library System welcomes Aaron Fox, Coordinator of George Washington University’s Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgendered (LGBT) Resource Center on Thursday, July 9.

Aaron Fox, Coordinator of GW’s LGBT Resource Center, will speak on the Resource Center’s services, LGBT life here at GW, and will lead an interactive Safe Zone training in which participants will be encouraged to openly discuss issues, values, stereotypes and more in an effort to create and maintain an open, safe and inclusive campus environment.
After the group discussion, participants in this session may voluntarily sign a pledge to become allies by displaying a Safe Zone sticker as a person committed to creating safe spaces for LGBT people and nurturing the LGBT community on campus. After-training refreshments and food will be provided.
