Cramming for midterms? Come take a quick break at Gelman!

Come by Wednesday, October 14th, at 7:00 p.m. for a snack, drink, AND a chance to win tickets to see Margaret Atwood!

On October 14th at 7:00 p.m. the Gelman Library will be handing out snacks and drinks to make the mid-semester crunch just a little more bearable. And this year, Gelman has partnered with the Lisner Auditorium to give students an opportunity to win free tickets to the October 30th event featuring the famous author Margaret Atwood. The raffle to win free tickets, a book, or CD, can only be entered during Take A Break.

The Atwood event will be a unique combination of book launch, dramatic reading with music, and fund-raising event for a number of environmental organizations. This event features the Booker Prize-winning author joined with several George Washington University students. They will dramatically interpret select scenes from her newest novel, The Year of the Flood. For more information on this raffle, please contact the student liaison, Jennifer Wiley at wiley@gelman.gwu.edu.
