Logging In

Use it for: Logging into the ALADIN Research Portal or MyALADIN.

Why use it? Because logging in gives you access to all of Gelman’s resources, as well as your library account, anytime and anywhere!

Step 1
Go to the front page of the Gelman Library website and click on Articles & Databases. You will see a page like that in the side picture.

Step 2
On the login page:

  1. Type your last name
  2. Type your University ID (GWid, G+8-digit number) or GWorld Barcode (on the back of your GWorld Card)
  3. Select George Washington University from the pull-down menu
  4. Click GO.

Argh!
Can't log in?

  • Try logging in with another number (e.g., GWid if you tried with GWorld card barcode or vice versa).
  • If your GWorld card barcode doesn't work, your card probably needs to be activated. Call the Circulation Desk at 202-994-6840.
  • If you're using America Online's browser, switch to IE or Firefox within AOL instead.
  • If you could login earlier, but now can't, report the problem to the Gelman Circulation Desk, 202-994-6840 or librcir@gwu.edu.
