Special Collections Closed Monday, May 25
The Special Collections Research Center will be closed on Monday, May 25 for the Memorial Day holiday. Regular hours will resume Tuesday, May 26.
New Primary Source Database: Arab-Israeli Relations 1917-1970
Gelman Library now subscribes to the database "Arab-Israeli Relations 1917-1970," which provides access to primary sources held by the British National Archives.
New Labor Journal, Books Strengthen Labor Studies Resources
Gelman Library now provides access for GW patrons to the journal Labor: Studies in Working-Class History of the Americas, published by Duke University Press. The journal complements a growing body of materials on labor history in Special Collections.
Mass Transit: Take a Trip through DC’s 1970s Avant-garde Poetry Scene!
The Special Collections Research Center holds a complete run of Mass Transit, an avant-garde poetry publication from 1973-74 that serves as a written record of an open reading series that met weekly in the Community Book Shop in Dupont Circle.
