Announcing the New NEA Project Blog!

Posted by Jennifer Kinniff at Oct 23, 2009 03:21 PM |

The Special Collections Research Center recently launched a new blog, "NEA Project News," to keep patrons up to date on the status of the National Education Association collection.

The blog will provide weekly updates on the progress Project Archivist Kyle Conner is making in processing portions of the collection.  In addition, it will provide information on various departments and branches of the NEA.  You can visit the blog here or by clicking on the link in the navigation menu on the left hand side of the screen.

The Special Collections Research Center is proud to house the records of the National Education Association (NEA). The NEA is the largest labor organization in the United States, numbering 3 million members. These materials provide an opportunity to study and revere the traditions of an organization with a rich history of being strong and pioneering advocates for public schools.
